Haircut: A discount or loss suffered by a lender, which is applied to a loan when it is rescheduled or restructured.

Hermes: German insurance group which includes the German export credit insurer.

HFT: High Frequency Trading - a form of automated securities trading or “algorithmic trading” where computers are programmed to make trades based upon certain types of criteria such as price and timing etc. This enables trades to occur rapidly and often in large volumes that are much faster than those reliant upon human intervention.
